New Rehrusal Space

The Oswego Valley Snowbelters Barbershop Chorus is excited to announce a new chapter as it moves its rehearsal space from the Hall Newman Center to the Oswego Alliance Community Center. Starting on September 9th, 2024, the chorus will begin holding its weekly practices at this new location at Oswego Alliance Community Center, at 371 Thompson Road, in Oswego, New York.

This move represents more than just a change of venue; it's an opportunity for the Snowbelters to expand their community outreach and engage with a broader audience. The Oswego Alliance Community Center offers a welcoming and accessible environment that fosters the group's commitment to harmony and camaraderie.

The Snowbelters have thrived for years at the Hall Newman Center, which has been a cherished home for their rehearsals. However, with the group's growth and evolving needs, the new space at the Oswego Alliance Community Center promises to provide the resources and environment necessary to continue delivering the high-quality performances that the community has come to love.

The Oswego Valley Snowbelters invite all current and prospective members and any community members interested in barbershop singing to join them at their new rehearsal location. Rehearsals will continue to be held on Monday evenings, at 7 pm, with the same dedication to music, friendship, and fun that has always defined the Snowbelters.

For more information about joining the chorus or attending a rehearsal, please contact the Oswego Valley Snowbelters through their official website or social media channels. The Snowbelters look forward to harmonizing with you in their new home!

Tonight was Sweetheart Appreciation Night at The Lock Restaurant in Fulton! Our Chours took out our significant others out as a thank you for letting us spend time away singing.

Great News!

The Snowbelters will be resuming in person rehearsals starting tomorrow (Monday June 20) at 7 sharp!  We will be meeting at our new location at the Hall Newman Center at 36 New Street in Oswego.

We ask all coming for rehearsal wear  a mask for the first few weeks.

The Snowbelters have concluded that in-person performances during the remainder of 2020 are not safe for you, our patrons, or for us, standing side by side on stage.

We look forward to a time when we can resume rehearsals, and performances.

This also means we may need to delay our 2021 spring show. Our sole concern is the health and safety of you, and our members.

The Snowbelters!
